Senior Pastor
Ed was ordained in 1986 in the United Church after receiving a Masters of Divinity from the Vancouver School of Theology, and previously a Bachelors Degree in General Studies from Simon Fraser University. From 1986 – 2000 he was the Minister at St. Andrew’s United Church in Lillooet, BC. During this time Ed was a solo pastor responsible for all aspects of the church life and was successful in building a strong lay leadership team. From 2000 – 2007, Ed ministered in London, ON at Metropolitan United.

Children’s and Family Ministries Coordinator
Since joining the staff in the Fall of 2003, Corinne has been committed to developing a vibrant Children’s ministry where children can learn, explore and grow their Faith in Christ. Corinne is also passionate about connecting church and home, and helping to ‘equip’ parents, who are the most important spiritual influence in their children’s lives. Corinne is married to Richard and they have an 8-year old daughter, who keeps them both very busy!

Nicole started on staff in September 2008. After an 8 year stint as a stay-at-home mom, Nicole is excited to be back in the working world, especially with such a supportive community. Prior to her time off, Nicole worked as a special event planner and managed the Yellowknife and Northwest Territories Tourism Information centres. An excellent communicator, Nicole has a good knowledge of our congregation, having attended our church for the past 5 years and volunteered with the Sunday School/Destination Christ program. Nicole is married to Regan and they have two children, Sam and Isabelle.

Worship Leader
Corey just joined our staff in August 2010, coming to us from London, Ontario! After doing a 1 year internship at West London Alliance Church, Corey completed a Worship Ministries Certificate from Heritage Bible College. He is an extremely talented musician and songwriter, with a deep love for Jesus and a passion to lead God’s people in worship. He loves being engaged in worship and relationships.

Pastoral Care Coordinator
Leslie has been an member of Southwood Church since 1991. She worked as an occupational therapist for 20 years and has experience working in pediatrics, adult rehabilitation, home care and long term care. Leslie is happily married to Gerald. They are blessed to have had three children, Lindsay, Nicholas and Stephanie. Leslie has felt the support of the Southwood congregation in her own life; she is excited to be able to work with the many volunteers doing Pastoral Care within the congregation.

Children’s Music and Choir Director
Music is Donna’s heart & soul. She loves all forms of music, but her passion is the music of the church. Donna has extensive vocal and music training and looks forward to using her skills to expand the choir’s abilities, and hopefully to expand the choir itself by helping people discover their untapped musical gifts. Donna has been a member of Southwood for over 10 years and has seen the congregation develop a strong love for Christ through music. She’s always loved being a part of that. She is married to Kyle!
